Designed by Jules Rousseau, Rocaille draws a conceptual line between the digital language of code and the physical language of rock climbing, treating both as systems of communication between human and environment. The geometric construction departs from the smooth, screen-friendly conventions of most slab serifs, favouring rougher, more mineral forms. It covers 342 glyphs across Latin European, including diacritics, ligatures, mathematics and currency symbols.
