Part of a 58-font bespoke commission for the Evening Standard, A2 Standard SPLASH is the dedicated splash weight intended for front-page headlines and high-impact display use. It runs across five weights from Light to Extrabold, sitting alongside the broader A2 Standard family that covers serif text, display, sans, condensed and extra-condensed cuts. Commissioned for a free daily tabloid distributed at 850,000 copies across London, the design carries the practical demands of high-volume newsprint at its core.
