Aveny-T
A2-Type · 2000

Originally a capitals-only poster face designed for a Danish theatre in 2000, now expanded into an eleven-weight family with full lowercase.
About
Drawn from early twentieth-century modernist and avant-garde lettering, the face was first created as a bespoke capitals-only typeface for the Danish theatre Aveny-T. The updated retail release adds lowercase glyphs and a broad weight range running from Ultralight to Ultra, making it usable across both headline and identity contexts. No italics are included, keeping the family firmly in the upright, architectural tradition of its source material.
Classification
Inspired by early twentieth-century modernist and avant-garde lettering, Aveny-T sits within the geometric sans tradition, originally conceived as an all-caps display face before being extended with lowercase for retail release.
