displayrounded sans
Beckett Round specimen from A2-Type

A rounded variant of A2-Type's wood-type-inspired Beckett, sharing identical proportions so the two can be swapped without affecting text flow.

About

Beckett Round takes the machine-cut wood type source material of the original Beckett and applies rounded corners across the entire letterform set, producing a softer character while retaining the same weight system and proportions. Eleven weights run from Extralight to Heavy, with no italics in the family. Because metrics are matched to the parent Beckett, the two faces can be used interchangeably within a layout without reflowing text.

Classification

Derived from a machine-cut wood type revival, Beckett Round is a display-weight sans with softened, rounded terminals throughout, placing it firmly in the rounded sans subcategory of display type.
