Condensed Sans No.10

A revival of Stephenson Blake & Co.'s Condensed Sans Serif No.10, drawn directly from the Sheffield foundry's 14-point metal type cut.
About
The design takes Stephenson Blake & Co.'s nineteenth-century Condensed Sans Serif No.10 as its source, with A2-Type describing the approach as free-spirited rather than strictly faithful. Five weights run from Regular to Black, all maintaining the tight, upright proportions that defined the original metal cut. Without italics, it is oriented towards display and headline work where condensed grotesque letterforms are needed with period character.
Classification
A condensed grotesque sans-serif revival drawn from Stephenson Blake & Co.'s Victorian-era metal type, retaining the upright, tight proportions characteristic of nineteenth-century condensed grotesques.
