Part of the Independent family commissioned in 2013 for The Independent newspaper's print and digital editions, the Slab Stencil variant applies stencil cuts to the slab serif foundation shared across the wider suite. Five weights run from Light to Black, offering range for display and campaign applications. The parent family earned a D&AD Yellow Pencil in 2014 and the Typeface Design prize at the Tokyo TDC in 2015.
