About
The lettering originates from a printer's shop-window sign that Schneemann photographed and later adapted as the title of her collaborative project with Anthony McCall and Bruce Nauman. Abyme's edition reproduces that lettering on a french terry sweatshirt, silkscreened in a limited run of 75 plus 15 artist's proofs. It sits at the border of type artefact and artist multiple rather than functioning as a deployable typeface.
