ALT Riviera

A London-made grotesque with six weights, italics and a monospaced cut, where deliberate tension in the letterforms keeps it from collapsing into anonymity.
About
Built on geometric logic but refusing to be rigidly sanitised, ALT Riviera introduces subtle irregularities in curves and joins that give the family a distinct character without veering into gimmickry. The R and G carry particular personality, and the proportions resist pure neutrality across both display and text settings. Over 600 glyphs cover Latin Extended A, partial Latin Extended B and Greek, with full italic and monospaced accompaniments across all six weights.
Classification
The foundry describes it as a contemporary grotesk that borrows from geometric logic without being fully geometric; its construction and character decisions place it firmly in the grotesque tradition with humanist inflections.
