U8 takes its name and visual cues from the U8 metro line connecting Reinickendorf to Neukölln in Berlin. The design sits wider than most geometric sans-serifs, giving it a strong, open character suited to both display and text settings. It includes full OpenType features including ligatures, oldstyle figures and fractions.
