An experimental hyper-extended display typeface inspired by the speed and architecture of Amsterdam's Sloten velodrome.

About

Velodromatic (Velo) began as a souvenir of track cycling at Amsterdam's Sloten velodrome, capturing the pace and atmosphere of the sport. Its modular, monospaced construction produces hyper-extended letter forms with an industrial character. The typeface was originally created for an imaginary sports magazine and shown at AtypI Helsinki in 2005.
