A one-weight geometric display face built on a strict rule that sharpens every stroke intersection to near breaking point, mimicking the physical act of joining pieces of wood.
About
Each intersection in Stick is drawn with an inward sharpening that the foundry describes as a primitive ink-trap concept, merging a physical construction principle with a digital implementation. The result reads as both brutalist and handmade at large sizes, while producing an unusual texture at smaller settings that makes short paragraphs viable. Coverage includes Latin Extended with accented characters across Central and Northern European languages, arrows and a small set of ligatures.
Classification
A single-weight geometric display typeface with a distinctive construction rule applied at all intersecting strokes, making it firmly display in character and purpose.
