About
Designed after researching how children are taught to write, Formulate draws on modern typographic conventions, including even proportions and a high x-height, that the designer found largely absent from existing teaching materials. The family spans five weights and extends into layerable styles (Arrows, Inline, Inline Dots, Outline Bold, Outline Light) and precomposed Decor variants, enabling teachers and designers to build custom worksheet layouts or decorative type treatments. OpenType alternates include double-storey a and g, serifless caps and a modified l, t and q.
