Arillatype · Pedro Arilla · 2022

A pixel-inspired display family by Pedro Arilla, offering one plain style and nine sci-fi colour font variants as a tribute to early computing and Wim Crouwel's New Alphabet.
About
Built on the geometry of early computer and video game type, the family smooths the hard edges of bitmap lettering into something more refined while keeping its retro character. Nine colour fonts sit alongside the plain style, each named after a sci-fi reference and delivered in both COLR and SVG formats for broad web and desktop support. Visual glitches, sci-fi palettes and geek emoji sets make it a self-contained kit for themed branding or entertainment projects.
Classification
A pixel-derived display typeface drawing on early computing and retro video game aesthetics, with smooth geometric construction rather than hard raster edges. The colour font variants and sci-fi theming place it firmly in the display category.
