Ginny Sans

A thin, open grotesque drawn from 1970s food-packaging typography, designed for CPG branding and packaging work.
About
Ginny Sans takes its cues from the clear, open sans letterforms that defined food packaging in the 1970s, carrying a light weight with enough character to hold its own in branding contexts. It is part of Badson Type's first Brand Palette Collection, a set of four typefaces built specifically for CPG identity and packaging. Works equally well set in sentence case or all caps, shifting between a quiet supporting role and something more prominent depending on context.
Classification
A thin, utilitarian sans-serif drawing on the open grotesque letterforms common to 1970s food packaging, placing it firmly in the grotesque sans tradition with a vintage commercial character.
