Guilder draws on the tradition of sign painting gilders, offering three layerable fonts — Solid, Outline and Inline — that stack to produce varied gilded letterform effects. The family is all-caps with small caps in the lowercase positions and covers the Basic Latin Unicode character set. A forthcoming 2.0 expansion is planned to extend the family to 25 styles across five weights and five widths, each with its own outline and inline variants.
