A pixelated spin-off of Smoosh, currently a single Bold weight intended for large-scale display use.
About
Released as an R&D typeface in September 2021, it takes the underlying forms of Smoosh and renders them through a pixel grid. Only one weight exists at present, covering basic uppercase Latin, numerals and punctuation. The foundry acknowledges further weights are planned with no confirmed timeline.
Classification
A pixelated display face derived from Smoosh, designed for large-scale use. The bitmap grid construction and explicit instruction to use it very big place it firmly in the display category.
