A wedge-serif text typeface with sharply cut, unbracketed terminals and generous round letterforms intended for both body text and headline use.
About
Lexik's defining characteristic is its wedge-shaped serifs and beaks, each constructed with a minimum of anchor points and no curvature, giving the face a precise, almost incised quality. Despite the sharpness of the terminals, the round letters are drawn generously, balancing austerity with readability at text sizes. Five weights from Light to Black cover Latin Extended, Cyrillic and Greek, with a comprehensive OpenType feature set including small caps, oldstyle figures and ligatures.
Classification
Lexik features sharp wedge-shaped serifs and beak terminals applied without curvature, placing it firmly in the wedge or incised serif category rather than conventional bracketed or slab forms.
