Beaurencourt FY specimen from Black Foundry

A connected script drawn from 19th-century handwriting, available in two weights with ink-spread effects for both small text and display use.

About

Designed by Gia Tran and Jérémie Hornus, it reproduces the rhythm and texture of period handwriting through connected forms, loops and ink-spread detailing. Two weights, Light and Regular, handle both small-size legibility and large display settings where the ink-on-paper quality comes through most clearly. Oldstyle figures, ligatures, stylistic alternates and an extensive fraction set make it well equipped for packaging and editorial projects where typographic detail matters.

Classification

A connected cursive script rooted in 19th-century handwriting conventions, with joined letterforms, loops and ink-spread effects placing it firmly in the historical script category.
