Blaze Type · Matthieu Salvaggio · 2018

A sharp, high-contrast display family from Blaze Type, released in 2018 and updated twice since, with two subfamilies across 24 styles including a variable file.
About
Designed by Matthieu Salvaggio with Cyrillic extensions by Ilya Ruderman and Yury Ostromentsky, the family splits into Normal and Revelations subfamilies, each running six weights from Hairline to Dark with matching italics. The pointed terminals and expressive stroke contrast make it well suited to exhibition posters, album artwork and display headlines where strong typographic presence is required. Coverage extends to Latin, Cyrillic and Greek, and the family ships as a variable font alongside individual static files.
Classification
A deliberately expressive, sharp-edged display family with pointed terminals and high contrast detailing; designed primarily for headlines and poster use rather than extended text.
