Druto
Blaze Type · Adrien Troy · 2025

A text grotesque by Adrien Troy engineered to sustain legibility at minimal line spacing, using a high x-height, flat counter-forms and strong horizontal rhythm across three widths.
About
Released in 2025, Druto addresses the tension between space-saving and reading comfort without simply increasing the font size. Its flat counter-forms, horizontal arches and low stroke contrast reinforce a strong optical baseline, letting it hold up at line spacings that would compromise most text faces. The family spans 24 styles across Compressed, Condensed and Normal widths, each in four weights from Regular to Black with matching italics, and is available as a variable font.
Classification
A text-oriented grotesque with strong horizontal emphasis, high x-height, flat counter-forms and low contrast, engineered specifically for tight line spacing in dense continuous reading.
