Fautive
Blaze Type · Fred Wiltshire · 2022

An expressive display serif by Fred Wiltshire, drawing loosely on Louis Perrin's work and extending it into 18 flamboyant styles with Cyrillic, Greek and extended Latin support.
About
Built around exaggerated details and a playful character, the family runs from Thin to Black with matching italics, where lighter weights amplify decorative movement and heavier ones round off the quirks. Each font ships with an extensive set of ligatures, alternates, modular ornaments, illustrations and, per the foundry, a snake. The regular style holds up for running text, but the design is at its best in headline and display settings on posters, books and editorial layouts.
Classification
A highly expressive serif with exaggerated personality, based loosely on the work of Louis Perrin, optimised for display and headline use with calligraphic italics and ornamental features.
