Rondette
Blaze Type · Fabrizio Falcone, Alex Bossi · 2024

A geometric display sans in four weights, drawing on 1970s Unimark sports branding, Churchward Design 70 and Herbert Bayer's Universal alphabet for an athletic, cut-form aesthetic.
About
Designed by Fabrizio Falcone and Alex Bossi and released in 2024, Rondette combines the circular geometry of Futura and Kabel with sharp diagonal cuts on S, C and G, and rounded strokes on A, E and F. Stylistic alternates include variant legs on R and K, alternate bowl forms on b, d, p and q, and both single- and double-storey g, giving considerable compositional variety. Available as a variable font across four static weights, it suits sports branding, editorial display and identity work where geometric rigour meets expressive detail.
Classification
A display-weight geometric sans with sharp diagonal cuts and rounded terminals, drawing on Futura, Kabel and Herbert Bayer's Universal alphabet; the athletic, structured geometry and stylistic alternates place it firmly in the display category.
