Sizek specimen from Blaze Type

A deconstructed display typeface from Sandro Bonomo that fragments classical calligraphic letterforms through a deliberately glitched, broken aesthetic.

About

Inspired by digital lag, corrupted files and screen glitches, the design intentionally disrupts letter structures with breaks and divisions to create unconventional counters and shapes. Eight weights run from Thin to ExtraBold, each accompanied by a standard italic and a more extreme Super Italic cut, across 24 styles in total. The variable file supports the full weight range, and coverage extends to Latin European languages.

Classification

Sizek is explicitly described as an experimental display typeface, with letterforms deconstructed through intentional breaks and disruptions drawn from digital glitch aesthetics rather than any conventional type classification.
