Originating as a logotype for a high-fashion streetwear brand, the design treats stencil cuts as a structural principle rather than an afterthought, producing spiky compressed letterforms that grow into chunky blocks at heavier weights. Consistent white space and x-height across all five weights allow mixed-style settings within a single word. Five decorated variants in Rekall Two, including the outline Factory and the striped Techno, extend the palette for posters, record sleeves and apparel graphics.
Classification
Rekall is an aggressive, compressed display family built on futuristic stencil logic rather than conventional letterform construction, making it firmly a display typeface with no body-text application intended.
