Designed by Maël Bächtold and released in 2025, BS Synthetik sits between classic geometric models and contemporary practice, with very low contrast, smooth curve connections and vertical-cut terminals that give it both speed and legibility. Distinctive letterforms include an asymmetric crossbar on f and t that extends only to the right, a Q whose tail is vertically trimmed to reach beyond the bowl, and a 4 with an open triangular counterform. The family spans ten weights with matching italics and a variable font covering weight and slant axes.
