About
Designed from 2017 and released in 2022, Anto Rounded shares its skeleton with the broader Anto family but favours soft terminals over the angular geometry of Anto Plot. The family spans four weights with italics, extends into a monospaced variant and an airy display cut called Anto Rounded Air, and offers 820 glyphs per roman style with extensive OpenType features including alternate figures, circled numbers and framed numbers. Language support covers a wide range of Latin-based scripts across several hundred languages.
Classification
Inspired by early sans-serif designs like Monotype Grotesque Bold Extended, Anto Rounded applies smooth, rounded terminals to a geometric skeleton, distinguishing it from the angular sibling Anto Plot.
