CA Oskar
Cape Arcona · Stefan Claudius, Kathrin Roussel

A compressed and condensed grotesque originally designed as a custom typeface for the Traumzeit music festival, balancing industrial narrowness with rounded forms.
About
Originating as a bespoke identity typeface for an international music festival, CA Oskar grew from compressed display caps into a full two-width, two-weight family with matching italics. Its very slim proportions across Compressed and Condensed cuts make it highly space-efficient, while a mix of angular rigour and rounded details gives it more personality than comparable narrow grotesques such as Alternate Gothic. Both families support Western and Central European encodings and include OpenType features for fractions and lining figures.
Classification
Cape Arcona classify it as sans serif; its very slim compressed and condensed proportions with industrial character place it firmly in the grotesque tradition, comparable to Alternate Gothic.
