CA Weird Stories specimen from Cape Arcona

A two-style layered display face by Thomas Schostok designed to be stacked for a distressed, otherworldly special-effects result.

About

The Regular and Fill styles are built to overlay one another, producing a shadowed, dimensional effect when combined. Used separately, the Fill style reads as deliberately uneven, which is by design rather than accident. Western and Central European encodings are supported across 304 glyphs per style, making it workable for science fiction, horror and Halloween contexts.

Classification

Classified by Cape Arcona as Display Distressed; an irregular, slanted display face designed for stacking two complementary styles to produce layered special effects, placing it firmly in expressive display territory.
