A free revival of vernacular bar signage lettering from Warsaw, produced as part of the city's 2023 Participatory Budget.
About
Drawn from the original lettering of the "BAR SADY" sign in Warsaw's Żoliborz district, this revival was produced by Mateusz Machalski and Małgorzata Bartosik. The original glyphs were first lifted from the source lettering, then extended to a full A-Z character set before a Bold weight was developed. The family is released free of charge in three weights plus a variable version.
