Blueberry Pancakes
CAST · Massimo Pitis, Andrea Amato – Tipiblu · 2016

An ultra-thin, squarish display sans designed by Massimo Pitis and finished by Tipiblu, originally drawn from single-line strokes for a 2008 Kenya Hara poster.
About
Conceived by Massimo Pitis from a single-line lettering exercise and later completed with a lowercase by Andrea Amato of Tipiblu, the typeface carries the marks of its origins: terminals formed by pinnacles or short strokes parallel to the stroke axis rather than the baseline, wide squarish proportions, and a 45° tail on the lowercase a. It comes in one weight only, with OpenType alternates for g, w, Q and @, alongside lining and oldstyle numerals. Suited to book covers, magazine headlines and exhibition graphics where an austere, geometric thinness is the point.
Classification
An ultra-thin, squarish display sans with near-geometric construction, single-weight only and explicitly conceived for headlines rather than text setting, placing it firmly in the display category.
