A faithful digital revival of Giulio Da Milano's 1936 Nebiolo typeface, expanded by Alessandro Colizzi into a 42-style family spanning seven widths and five weights, with a shaded Ombra variant.

About

Originally issued by Nebiolo in varying widths tied to specific type sizes, the design has been rationalised into a coordinated system running from UltraCondensed to Wide, each width offered in Thin through Bold plus the decorative Ombra shade. The monocase geometric construction is tempered by optical corrections at stem junctions and terminals, making it usable at text sizes as well as for headlines and signage. In 2022 it was selected for the Moët Hennessy office building signage in Paris by Barbarito Bancel and +fortuna.

Classification

A monocase geometric sans-serif with modular construction, based on the 1936 Nebiolo typeface by Giulio Da Milano. The geometric structure and single-case design place it firmly in the geometric sans tradition.
