A squarish stencil sans by Erasmo Ciufo, drawing on Eurostile's geometric structure to maximise counter space and aid legibility at small sizes.
About
Originating from a 2007 type design course at Milan Polytechnic, the design takes Eurostile's near-square skeleton as its starting point and introduces stencil cuts at stroke junctures to reduce visual weight while adding a distinctive graphic quality. Six weights from Thin to ExtraBold make it flexible across branding, pharmaceutical leaflets, packaging and book captions. The stencil detail works equally well at small text sizes and at display scale, giving the family a wider range than most stencil designs.
Classification
A squarish stencil sans-serif inspired by Eurostile, with deliberate stencil cuts at junctures that serve both as structural lightening and as a display feature; the geometric, near-square letterforms align it with the display category.
