About
Designed for the demands of newspaper printing, Sole Serif bridges daily press and book typography through its big x-height and wide italic on one side and its inclined axis, calligraphic terminations and Renaissance proportions on the other. The family spans eight optical size grades and a Hairline cut, covering well over a hundred styles with weights from Light to Black. In 2018 it was chosen by Guardian Media Group to revamp The Observer, the oldest Sunday paper in the world.
Classification
