FK Screamer
Catalogue (Florian Karsten) · Florian Karsten · 2018

A condensed display family with tight spacing and compact diacritics that produces a dense, block-like texture well suited to headlines and wordmarks.
About
Designed by Florian Karsten and first released in 2018, FK Screamer prioritises compactness: tight letter-spacing and reduced diacritic heights create a visually solid mass that reads as a single unit at display sizes. The family covers Latin Extended-A and Vietnamese, making it workable across Western, Central and Southeastern European languages. The original single-weight release, which included slanted and backslanted styles, is preserved as FK Screamer Legacy.
Classification
A tightly spaced condensed display family designed explicitly for headlines and wordmarks, with block-like massed text and compact diacritics placing it firmly in the display category.
