Designed by Character Type in partnership with branding agency Strichpunkt for Germany's largest home loan and savings bank, the typeface family known internally as 'Fuchs' responds to a brand brief built around 'Heimat' and 'Digital'. Slightly curved diagonals introduce a calligraphic, human quality, while DIN-inspired straight elements lend technical rigour and stretch the rounder letters. Each of the eight styles carries around 700 glyphs including full European diacritics, small caps and arrows; oblique forms serve as the primary slanted variant, with true italics reserved as a backup reference to the wordmark.
