Unimatic
Character Type · Oleksandr Parkhomovskyy

A bespoke variable numeral set designed for UNIMATIC watches, spanning compressed to super-extended widths to suit both watch centres and bezels.
About
Commissioned by Milan-based watchmaker UNIMATIC, this custom typeface exists solely as a set of numerals built into a variable font. The width axis runs from compressed through to super-extended, allowing the brand to dial in the right proportion for each watch edition, with tighter compressed styles used in watch centres and broader extended styles reserved for bezels. Its design lineage draws on the Dirty Dozen, a set of twelve Second World War British military field watches.
Classification
A bespoke numeral-only variable font designed for watch faces and bezels, spanning compressed to extended widths. Classified as display due to its highly specialised, decorative application in product design rather than continuous text setting.
