Vorwerk
Character Type · Henning Skibbe, Anja Meiners

A geometric corporate typeface designed for Vorwerk by Character Type, with pointed corners taken from the brand logo and coverage of 311 languages across Latin, Cyrillic and Greek scripts.
About
Designed by Henning Skibbe and Anja Meiners in partnership with Jung von Matt Brand Identity, the family runs across eight styles: four weights from Light to Bold each with a matching italic. A key challenge was achieving text economy comparable to Roboto Sans despite the typically wider proportions of geometric designs, which the Vorwerk typefaces meet through careful spacing calibration. Brand-specific details such as pointed arch corners and quarter-circle forms, both taken directly from Vorwerk's existing visual identity, are integrated throughout the character set.
Classification
The foundry explicitly describes it as a geometric typeface family, with quarter-circle forms drawn from the Vorwerk logo and space-saving proportions benchmarked against Roboto Sans.
