Feature
Commercial Type · Christian Schwartz, Berton Hasebe, Hrvoje Zivcic · 2018

A tense, contemporary editorial serif from Commercial Type, first cut for T Magazine and expanded into a five-width fashion and feature system.
About
A contemporary serif by Christian Schwartz and Berton Hasebe, originally drawn in 2018 for T: The New York Times Style Magazine and later expanded by Hrvoje Zivcic. Diagonal stress, mismatched contrast between main strokes and serifs, and sharply angled head serifs give Feature its sense of tension and dynamism. The collection now runs from Text up through Deck and Display, plus condensed cuts, with matching italics across the whole range and small caps in Text. Reach for it on editorial covers, fashion mastheads and feature openers that want immediacy without slipping into pastiche.
