Argent Pixel CF
A bitmap adaptation of the Argent serif, redrawn in a pixelated style reminiscent of early Macintosh screen typography, with angled serifs and swashy italics.
About
Taking its cues from the original Argent typeface, this pixel version recreates the family's distinctive proportions and angled serifs within a low-resolution grid. The result recalls the character of early Macintosh system fonts whilst remaining legible enough for a range of print and screen applications. Two styles, Regular and Regular Italic, cover extended Latin for branding, editorial, book covers and packaging work that calls for a retro aesthetic.
Classification
A bitmap interpretation of the serif typeface Argent, designed to evoke early Macintosh low-resolution typography; the pixelated construction and retro aesthetic place it firmly in the display category despite functional serif origins.
