Triade specimen from Coppers and Brasses

A single-weight display typeface in three angle variants — upright, slanted and backslant — with oversized ink traps and a rich set of alternates.

About

Designed by Étienne Aubert Bonn and released in 2016, Triade is built for large-scale use and offers three stylistic angles rather than a range of weights. Enormous ink traps are a deliberate visual feature, and punctuation and diacritics come in two variants — bold and extra-thin — giving the family considerable range within its single weight. Ornamental alternates add further flexibility for display and editorial contexts.

Classification
