Designed by Darrin Crescenzi and released in 2024, Bulward takes the varsity block letter as its starting point and layers in the slightly worn edges of cast metal type for a rougher, more characterful result. Subtly rounded counter forms temper what could be an aggressively heavy appearance, lending the face warmth alongside its considerable presence. The family ships as 30 styles with a three-axis variable font in beta, covering Latin European languages in .otf, .woff, .woff2 and .ttf formats.
