Birra specimen from Darden Studio

A collection of five characterful display faces, each named after a beer style, unified under a single expanding family conceived at Darden Studio.

About

Each of the five styles, Saison, Pils, Bruin, Lambic and Stout, carries its own distinct personality rather than functioning as weight variants of a single design. Stout, the original, dates to a 2008 description by Joshua Darden as 'conjuring whimsy', and the broader Flight was conceived by Joyce Ketterer and David Jonathan Ross with art direction by Eben Sorkin. The project is framed as a continually growing collection, with further styles expected beyond the current five.

Classification

Birra is a collection of stylistically distinct display faces united under a single family name; Stout, originally described as 'conjuring whimsy', signals an expressive, display-oriented intent across all five styles.
