Output
David Jonathan Ross · David Jonathan Ross

A sans-serif companion to DJR's coding typeface Input, offering three aperture variants tuned for text and user interface work.
About
Derived from the design DNA of Input, Output softens the curves and moderates the proportions to suit readable body text and UI rather than code. Three sub-families, Sans, Sans Open and Sans Closed, let designers shift between a lyrical humanist feel and a tighter, neo-grotesque character by opening or closing terminals. The full series spans eight weights from Hairline to Black with italics throughout, plus a variable font covering weight and slant axes.
Classification
Output is positioned between humanist and neo-grotesque, with three aperture variants ranging from open and lyrical to closed and vertical-terminated, rooted in the design language of DJR's coding typeface Input.
