About
Serbia-based type designer Jovana Jocić adapted DJR's Roslindale for the Cyrillic script, preserving the interplay of spiky serifs and bulbous curves that defines the Latin original. The family covers Text and Display Condensed optical styles, spans eight weights from Extra Light to Ultra with matching italics, and includes Bulgarian and Serbian alternates. Both Latin and Cyrillic scripts are included in a single package, with a variable font also available.
Classification
A Cyrillic extension of Roslindale, which builds on De Vinne, a quirky 1892 oldstyle serif. The design carries forward Roslindale's tension between sharp pointy serifs and bulbous round shapes into the Cyrillic script.
