Designed by Sylvester Tan under the Death of Typography collective in Singapore, the face takes its cultural reference from Getai, a form of Chinese street performance, translating calligraphic curve sensibilities into a Latin grotesque skeleton. Ink traps appear not only at junctions but as a consistent detail throughout, giving the letterforms a quiet structural rhythm even in characters without curves. Released under the Open Font Licence, it is free for both commercial and non-commercial use.
