Parkinson combined wedge-shaped brush terminals from sign-painting tradition with ink traps at angled joins, producing a typeface that reads as simultaneously historic and purposeful. The narrow proportions and ranging uppercase midline push it towards headline and display use, though the wider weights handle subheading work capably. Version 2.2 expanded the family to nine weights plus two condensed cuts, with 880 glyphs covering 331 languages including Vietnamese and Latin-based African scripts.
