Inspired by western film imagery and the song title that sparked the design, Discourse takes classic reverse-contrast wood type as its starting point and pushes it toward a neo-modern sensibility. The family spans two weights, Light and Heavy, across three widths, Narrow, Middle and Wide, with each base style accompanied by Shadow, Outline and Fill variants designed for layered chromatic composition. Small caps, stylistic alternates and standard ligatures are included, and the family covers 152 languages.
