Born from the practical needs of illustrating a book, the family captures the ink-spread texture and natural irregularity of Rohde's own handwriting. Sketchnote Text uses over 240 OpenType contextual alternates per font to replicate the variation found in genuine handwriting, whilst Sketchnote Square provides a drawn, compressed companion for headlines. A dingbats font supplies icons, rules and arrows suited to sketchnote-style documents and presentations.
