Styled after the multi-pass colour printing traditions of wood type and engraved print, Dr Slab separates its design into discrete styles (Base, Rim, Shadow and Ext) that stack in layers within Photoshop, Illustrator or similar apps. Each layer takes its own colour, replicating the effect of overlapping printing plates. The Base style also stands alone as a clean, rounded slab for friendly branding or casual poster work.
