Inspired by a 1970s phototypesetting typeface structured in onion-like layers, ABC Grow was developed by Johannes Breyer and Fabian Harb using custom software to isolate and recombine six basic outlines. The result is 63 purchasable combinations, all-caps, with fractions, roman numerals, arrows and ligatures included. Alternative narrow characters for O and a tighter M offer a less blocky register when needed.
